John Santore was born in Manhattan on March 17, 1973. He is neither Irish, nor does he drink, so the whole St. Patrick’s Day birthday is kind of a waste.
He is a product of the suburbs, having lived in Jersey outside of both NYC and Philadelphia, and even wound up in a suburb of Ft. Lauderdale. He moved to Pittsburgh in 1991 to go to college, and has remained there ever since. No, he doesn’t care about the Steelers.
He works as IT professional for a large bank. Not very exciting, but it pays the bills.
He is heavily involved as a boxing official, working as a ref, judge and timekeeper in the amateurs, and recently made his debut as a judge in the pro ranks.
